Solution:   In Direct quote,  Foreign currency on left hand side(BUYING ) and domestic currency on right hand side(Selling)

As per question, Domestic currency is (¥) and foreign currency is (€), hence direct quote will be written as  €/¥;

Understand the Mechanism: We can start with selling of Yen and get dollar, for selling of Yen ,will consider selling rates ($/¥), after getting dollar ,we will buy euro(€) and consider buying rate(€/$) from given rates.
